no rhyme or reason really, just tried imagining in my head what i wanted and a larger side wall kind of appealed (mental image wise). i dunno, i like they way it turned out ALOT, so im hapy.

Wheel/tire combo reminds me of past rally car stance/setups, IMO. Maye its the natural setting for the picture.

Meaty tires on a car just look manly. There has to be some correlation between fat tires and big breasts, when you see them, it just looks right. Look how 'Pcporo's' tires stick out, that's cleavage.

Does anyone have pics of a 17" meaty tire setup with preferably rallyarmor mudflaps?

My build idea is 17x9 et35 RPF1's with 245/40/17 MPSS's with my rallyarmor mudflaps and ~1 - 1.5" drop.

Edit: not gonna put much camber on the wheels at all. I wanna keep it sensible for autocross

I think the bulging tires and wheel poke coupled with the mudflaps will make the brz look pretty mean.

Pics greatly appreciated! Thanks
245/40 17 at stock height.

Mine are in fact OEM Scion FRS mudflaps bought at my local Toyota dealership. Cheap and effective. Subaru doesn't make any.

That seems a little counter intuitive there...

You want MORE tire BEFORE you rebuild the rear end???? or ONCE you rebuild the rear end...

More tire= more grip, more grip = more stress on the drive train...

^^^^^^ and weaker rear end = broke stuff...

Just saying...
