stopped by for a bit with some friends, saw a great turn out from the frs/brz community and some nice looking cars!

Was there for 2 hours and left right when the R34 showed up. I wore a blue dress shirt and jeans lol. Also said hello to moto. I was so scared of him lol. Then I just hung out with the employees.

Anyone else saw the veil side nsx?!

I was there for a couple of hours from around 9:00 to 11:00-ish. It was the bone stock one parked next to sick blue G35 coupe and bagged and Swarovski dripping CT200h.

Heard from a buddy that... Irvine PD straight up.. harassed all the drivers there around 3PM. There was a cop on EVERY corner surrounding the area. I was told they let wealthier cars go and.. Domestic... unfortunately they pulled over mostly if not all of the imports. Especially that poor RX-7.

Only if he didn't excessively revved before making a left out of the lot...

That's Irvine PD. Nothing else of note goes on in that city in terms of crime, so they love to hassle all the UCI students with imports and anyone else who drives through with a Honda, Nissan, Toyota, etc...

...We're all streetracers you know...

I've lived in Irvine pretty much all my life and gone to plenty of these meets. Never been harassed. Just don't be an asshat and you'll be fine. Seriously, it's always the people who rev loudly and/or peel out who get caught and then complain about Irvine PD. And yes, it's true that they will be on the lookout for specific vehicles, but honestly it only takes one person to draw attention. If everyone for once in their life you know....actually behaves, we'd be all fine.

At least we're not being actively raided like at some meets

I went to UCI. I had an Eclipse. I didn't go around revving or peeling out, but they sure loved to pull me over quite a bit to talk about my lack of a front plate, my exhaust (which was catted and under 92 db by the way) and tint without me ever being cited for anything...that is harassment in a nutshell. But I guess I was an asshat for driving an Eclipse...rolleyes.

Iono... I was there and didn't run into any forum members aside from Moto.. which I was incredibly scared of meeting. lol

I was the only one who sat in the Green FRS though. haha I had plenty trouble getting out too. ;(
