New UOA, didnt get a chance to order the amsoil kit before changing the oil. Probably wont be doing another UOA for awhile as everything seems ok and I don't plan on changing interval length or usage.
Wix oil and air filters. The farthest right column is Pennzoil 0w-20 and middle column is the first oil change with Pennzoil Euro 0w-40. |

Miller Oils Analysis
Got my oil analysis back from Millers oil.
My car is supercharged running ~300hp Has forester oil cooler and a low temp t stat. water typically runs 80C and Oil 85C Can covered 3k miles between services. Note the 2.5% fuel dilution. Apparently the DIT version of this engine runs similar fuel dilution numbers. [IMG] |

I get that the factory fill is pretty good but for someone with OCD and the need for data would changing the factory fill at 3750 with Red Line 0w20 be a good option? since it seems to have similar Moly and ZDDP to the FF.

Totally forgot about this thread! There’s a lot of personal preference when it comes to oil. Going into it I knew I’d be driving an incredible amount of miles very quickly and wanted to demonstrate how stock oil holds up at stock intervals with daily driving.
Selecting the proper oil composition and weight depends on your use. If you plan on driving 90k highway miles in two years with oil changes between 7500-10k miles the stock seemed to work out ok. I did zero real performance driving with this car. |

Did my first oil change at 3000 mi and replaced it with Red Line 0w-20. Sent it out for UA waiting for a response. I planned on going longer on the FF to maybe 5k but Ive been driving around during a heat wave of over 100 deg F and smoke from the wildfires around here.

Finally got my OA back, whatever is in the new factory fill has a hell of a lot of moly compared to the other factory fills in this thread.

After comparing most of these data, seems like the OEM oil is the best..

It is likely because of the engine assembly lube. All engine assembly lubes I have ever seen are extremely high in moly.

see attached for PP 5w30. Had a track day with probably 50 laps and an autocross on this oil.
