Install went fine, everything fit real well. The Greddy SP elite and Namless stuff doesn't seem to mate up well at all. Sounds super raspy.

[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-dfIGW9zymA"]BRZ with Namless EL Headers / DP / MP / Greddy SP Elite - YouTube[/ame]

I need some suggestions on how to fix this. It has the Nameless EL headers, 3" Downpipe, 3" Midpipe, and 2.5" Greddy SP Elite axleback. There has to be some science behind this. How do I make the raspiness go away? @Ryan@Nameless Any ideas?

Tuning set up Friday the 21st btw. Hoping to have a new muffler by then that kills the rasp.

Add a resonator.

Check for leaks, but it's probably just that you need an additional resonator. I take it the GReddy doesn't mate to the stock midpipe? If it does, try that.

Would the 3" piping have anything to do with rasp even with a few and cat in the piping?

You need another. Or a larger one.

Bingo. Swap to stock midpipe, guarantee it sounds infinity times better.

That looks like a cat in the FP. Second pipe from the top.

I had my downpipe supplied with a Helmholtz Resonator to cut down on drone. Any chance a HH could help in this case?

I think the rasp is slightly different issue.

3inch exhaust and not enough muffler to deal with it.

2.5inch shouldn't be as bad.

So if I were running a 2.5" overpipe does the different gasket taper things down or is there a half inch reduction in pipe diameter messing up my gas flow?
