1) Really, you think people don't know of this car? Should have mentioned the T-type instead as it's basically the same damn car but didn't look as mean.

2) Conquest doesn't count as it's a badge engineering crap, not American.

3) SVO Mustang is quite neat. Heavily modified they're quite scary actually, though super rare and expensive to modify compared to a normal GT

4) Turbo T/A... It's a pile of garbage. I've seen exactly one clean on, and he wisely ripped the shit engine out and stuffed an LS motor in it. TERRIBLE car stock. It's also technically a 70's car so shouldn't be on this list... The 3rd Gen Turbo T/A should have been shown instead as it didn't suck and it's really an 80's car.

5) T-Bird turbo... derivative of the SVO Mustang just like most t-birds.

6) Calloway Vette... doesn't count as it's not a production car, but a tuned version. Ligenfelter would also count here...

7) Polished turd... Was universally hated at the time (WTF is a FWD economy car carrying the Charger name for Dodge?!?!) Shelby helped, but it was at the end of the production run.

8) Not really American either.

Syclone and Typhoon should be on list IMHO.

I also want to say the Dodge Stealth was the 80s (it was really a 3000 GT though)...it may have been 90s though.

How about the T-Type Limited? Basically a wolf in sheep's clothing. Same idea as the T-Type, but even less mean looking...looked like grandpa's car. If you think the front seat in the GN looked like a rocking chair, the one in the T limited looks like a leather couch, lol (and the shifter is on the column). Very rare car. A friend of mine has one.

I had a '87 2.4L turbocoupe thunderbird, was a nice car, not that powerfull given the weight though.

I also had a '91 3.8L supercoupe thunderbird with a few mods that one was kinda fast with ~260hp and ~350tq iirc, was a really nice car.

(not my pics)

You are right! I thought the Syclone and Typhoon were from 80s because of that body style, but they are 91's

Yeah, iirc the body style didn't change until 93-94. I had a 91 Sonoma and drooled over the Symonds when the came out. I still wouldn't mind getting my hands on one either.

Dodge Omni GLH and Shelby Omni GLHS. Similar Motor to the 80's Charger, but in a lighter hatch.

The GLHS were very quick hatches for their day, though they were quite limited in numbers produced.
