Can't say this is a guaranteed solution because my car is just now starting to squeal again. Probably a result of me running Hawk HP+ pads though, which according to other forums squeal like a motherfucker), so I'm not gonna worry too much about it anymore (until maybe when I switch to steel brake lines in the future).
Thanks, I'll monitor for a while more then. Assuming brake pressure range from 0 to 10 (where 0 is no pressure and 10 is with foot all the way down) I get squeaks at 3-4, but not less or more.

I'm on Stoptech 309s.

Yep, my younger brother had a Corvair (1961), WO the turbo.

It was a good car till it wound up upside down in a corn field one night - only two curves in that county in Ohio, and he missed one of them -

Washed and Waxed the car, but only ended up doing all the metal panels since it was getting late (doing it by hand, and no buffer tool sure was something) and was hungry, the plastics can wait later in the week haha. Still have the inside to detail up, only did minor vacuuming, gotta do the trim and panel touch ups.

Found two minor chip rust spot on the passenger side door, luckily it's pentip sized, not the worst of things.

I still need to get around to finding a decent radio to replace the OEM unit too.

Wheels, wheeeeeeeels can waittt

FYI, here's the spacer Toyota designed to put between the engine and the mounts to give you enough room to access the plugs.

Took the car for a canyon drive today.

The last thing that was changed were my alignment settings (-2 deg front camber from 0) which I could finally test them properly. I couldn't believe the difference it made - I'm a novice and I'm still not fully accustomed on doing gentle inputs, however the grip at the front improved so much - previously the car would be everywhere and the stability system blinking off crazy.

So today I learned something new - never underestimate on what an alignment could do

Yesterday morning I pilled the passenger seat and removed an aftermarket amp a previous owner installed. I cleaned up the questionable install and planned out the new one. Planning on relocating the amp to the trunk attached to a dual 10" custom box off Amazon.

Gonna start looking at stereo replacement and upgrading the sound.
