Patience and heat. You're looking at my second attempt... I stretched the whole piece across, heated it, formed/stretched, heated, form/stretched. Cut a hole in the middle, then as I went on I split the hole in a bit of a criss cross star pattern (looks like this -> *) as I stretched and allowed it to get bigger. Not sure if it makes sense, but that's how I did it. |

My personal preference is to leave no square edges on the inner perimeter that you are going to be stretching. Square inner corners are what killed me on the shifter trim... It ripped as I was trying to stretch it, after I figured that out it was smooth sailing everywhere else. |

doesn't look bad if you ask me, it seems a bit out of place though, kind of like those red rim protectors you put on the lip of your wheels I think if you isolated the red to bring attention to something specific like the tips instead of the whole diffuser it might look sharper but again by no means is it bad right now

Made this wild shift knob out of an old tap handle...
Probably not going to rock it regularly as its not as comfortable to use as the stock one, but turned out pretty good for a whacky spur of the moment project. It took a surprising amount of dremelling to get the adapter to fit in there, but Im pretty happy with the result. I didnt exactly buy this car to be taken seriously lol |

Id use a dremel with a cutting wheel attachment. Just be a little careful, should be super easy
