I'm considering finally pulling a trigger on a SC kit and this or JRSC is high on the list. A few questions about this one:

1) It seems the jackson racing dual radiator/oil cooler works with this - do I need a specific bracket or something? I currently have the N/A version installed

2) What supporting mods need to be done for 240-280whp to be track reliable? I'm more concerned with reliability here than power (but more would be nice of course) - I'm a little worried the high torque output of the PD supercharger is going to be more harsh on the engine/trans but I haven't heard much issues (outside e85 high boost)? Are temps a concern compared to something like JRSC - I know <240 oil temps seem to be the sweet spot for long term reliability; is that achievable here (or even with the rotrex unit for that matter)?

3) Seems like a lot of issues with CARB tune, is the consensus just to skip that and get the TIY kit?

This was costing me ignition timing and ultimately power.
Hmm does the JR dual radiator/oil cooler suffer from this same issue? I would think that wouldn't be the case since the JR dual replaces the radiator, but idk.

Here ya go. But you should be able to buy just the cleaner from KN (not the oil spray) and clean your old one too. This one is kinda pricy
Ordered the dry filter from Jegs. Apparently it’s back-ordered due to supplier issues and should ship mid August.
Fine with me as I have yet to install my used kit yet. A fall project after track season.
Should I go with CSG or Delicious for my tune?

Personally I would avoid Delicious, I think CSG has their old tuner on their staff now FYI.

CSG 100%. Zach is incredibly talented and has very safe base tunes. He also knows the failure points of this engine and ramps in boost/timing slowly to preserve it.

Do you guys know when Zach left delicious? I got v31.53 of the edelbrock tune from delicious in August 2020 and I’m wondering if it was tuned by him and has these safeguards. Also what do you guys mostly see as the performance differences between Delicious / HRI / CSG

I tig welded a cut out in the back side to clear the fittings and then painted it blank to match. Of course I just sold it so unfortunately I don't have any pictures of it but in total it only took me like 4hrs to fab it up and I'm not anything special when it comes to that.

I've already got the Grimmspeed CAI, so it's possible fit it to the supercharger?

Zach tunes for CSG now, I'd suggest contacting him there. He moved fairly shortly after your august 2020 tune. He has also made revisions to his base files in just the past couple of months.

Zach left DT in 2019, and is an equity partner at CSG

The owner of Delicious was the tuner originally and still is from what I understand. I had tunes from DT before and after Zach joined them and had no complaints about either and would have no trouble going back to DT now.

I have no iron in this fire, and no educationed opinion of Zach's tunes. I'm just saying I've seen no reason to not use DT.

I have the JR DROC, no special bracket required. Fits into the original location very nicely, no special mods required. My oil temps are never over 250, even when I flog the engine for extended periods. I have the CSG tune by Zack on my E-force SC, easily making around 280whp with no other mods on the engine besides the SC and DROC. It’s so smooth, and the graduated pedal feel that Zack provides really suits my daily driving habits.

I don't think so. At least it's not recommended from what I've read on here. I ran the cai when I was na bit I'm using the supplied intake from the kit.

FedEx delivered the filter today. Really not much of a delay considering it had to clear customs as well. Thanks Jegs!

The filter setup from edelbrock looks a bit ridiculous to me. Giant filter with a small opening letting air into it. I realize it reduces pressure drop, but does that small opening not limit the pressure to begin with?
