I've personally had great support from the vendor, and as of this morning, passed smog with zero issues despite California's new modified software law. Wish it was smooth sailing for other owners with CARB tunes, but that doesn't seem to have been the case. IMO, CARB tuned JR kit is worth every penny.
I just smogged before all this tune snooping news. Are they already starting to check for tunes? Has it taken effect yet?

I think it was supposed to take effect as of July 19.

If you read the site, apparently it checks on it's own through the OBD II connection automatically.

I passed this morning with the CARB tune on the car.

Its common in the sense that it is a potential point of failure but, failures as a whole are not very common. It's the internet so issues are more likely to be posted than non issues. On the surface I have seen more C38 issues than C30 tho.

I even passed with the HBP on.

Do you have any exhaust mods? Assuming you have aftermarket fueling as your running the hbp?

I passed with Flex Fuel installed but the ECU harness unclipped. Perrin cat back was installed. My injectors are stock at the moment, I don't appear to be triggering a lean condition but I am also not pushing the car. I'll have headers, map, injectors, and tune reinstalled soon, and have other cars to drive so I'm not worried about any short term issues.

Thanks for the response. Gives me hope I can pass smog next year without it turning into a nightmare because of various mods.

So the search feature really sucks and i found a few posts but not the answer. Does anyone have the radium dual catch cans? How do you fit the oil tank and the catch can on the brake booster side?

I’ve been running both, relocated the brake booster can near the other one.

Do you have a picture? I assume you mean relocate the catch can on the booster side to the batter side and run them both over there?

You can get a custom fab bracket like I was but eventually gave up on idea. This is just my weekend street ride now.
