This is why I'm not involved with any contracts or sponsorships or anything. I'm active duty as well, stationed in Oklahoma, and things change all the time. No point in trying to make a long term commitment with a company, because I already have a long term commitment with the government. Once that's up, I can choose whether or not I'd like to try and get some sort of support.

I had an opportunity to travel with a friend and spot for him in the 2014 Formula D season. The opportunity got presented to me in September 2014 and I told him I'd have to decline it because my job obligations can always change. Sure enough, we came down on orders to deploy the next month and I was gone all of 2014. While that isn't a sponsorship proposal, it's a commitment that I was unable to make because of my job.

While I agree with what a lot of people are saying about trying to make this happen yourself, without asking for handouts or funding from others, I'd recommend waiting until your obligation with the military is over, because it would make it a lot easier to pursue in a more serious way.

That, or finish school, get out and get a job that allows you to earn enough to support your interests/hobbies and just enjoy it during your free time on the weekends.
Best response here!!!

I have managed to work hard enough to reach most of my goals in life. My dreams however remain exactly that, dreams.

You're right dreams can be interpreted differently to everyone but to me it's anything that you can work hard for. Just like someone who wants to go to the NBA, it's their dream, but they have to work hard for it. Another example that you are probably thinking of is sleeping with a bunch girls. To me those are just wishes. Butttt do whatever you wanna doooo

Sell your interior, make about 3k? Maybe more.

Help yourself as much as you can before asking others for help.

No great victory comes before a sacrifice.

I worked 4 jobs for 2 years to afford my FR-S and get out of debt. I lost out on a lot of partying, family memories and even my love life, but in the end it was all so worth it. I got out of 90% of my debt, matured, and learned to have both long term and short term goals.

Perhaps start a donation box in car meets or something?

This is just a suggestion, but have you considered posting a build thread? . Post pictures of your car and yourself at track events, car shows, mods that you have and any awards you might have won. That way potential investors (sponsers) can see where their money is going. Speaking of cash, I know how lousy military pay is, but instead of donating a majority of your spare cash to the Boys/Girls club, maybe donate 50% of it. That was you can still help a good cause, have money for your hobbies and maybe even save up some.
Found his build thread, but no pictures
