The intercooler will get sorted after we mount the ac condenser. Finishing up the base mounts for the radiator now. After the the top sports need to be sorted out. Then we will get the a/c condenser figured out.

Update:
Radiator fully mounted. It's a pretty tight fight but it needs to be! Fitting the A/C condenser as well as an intercooler able to support the power I need and want is the reasoning. Also, ordered the Sound Performance SuckerPunch short shifter and new v160 tripod. |

Can't make up my mind on tire compound for the street.
275/40R17 rear MT ET Streets Nitto 555R Continental ExtremeContact DW 245/45R17 fronts Nitto 555 Continental ExtremeContact DW We get rain here in VA but work is ~5 miles from home which is why the Nitto/Continental's are in there but at this point I'm totally indecisive. Anyone want to toss their opinion in the mix? I'm keeping my stock wheels with all-season/winter tires for predictable weather (incoming storms/snow) being that the car will be my DD when it's completed. I don't drive like an asshole on the street, either. Pic for update - condenser mounted. |

Very nice build thread. About your tire dilemma my hubby ran M&H Radials on his Supra and 04 Cobra both making north of 1100whp. They drove much better on the street and 60ft better than MTs. Just something to look into

I have a few weeks before I need to buy tires but I know for sure that I need something that can be daily driven without issue. I'll take a look into them, though! Thanks for the insight

Intercooler came in (no pics until later) and wiring has started. Although I have a Chase Bays harness to integrate, the factory wiring is entirely too messy and presents a fire hazard without proper precautions taken. The build was started to be done the right way or never done at all. There's still a lot left but I'm confident in the guys building the car. They're on point and consistently keep me in the loop.
Driveshaft is on order and exhaust components should be in very soon.

You wouldn't happen to have any pics of the wiring harness before it was modified would you?
And what exactly was done with the heater core? It appears to have been pulled back into the dash so that the lines could bend at the firewall? |

No, we did not take any pictures of that. As well that is the harness pre / during modification.

This will be my last update until motor start. The current focus to have motor start-up in the next 2 weeks, with driving before May.
Clutchmasters FX850 Motor, trans, driveshaft all in for the final time. Driveshaft M85 Differential -8 AN fuel feed / -6 AN return Peek into clutch inspection window, hello little guy. You can also see the engine was notched for clearance. Can see the notch better in this pic Final placement of the large parts. Intercooler has since been mounted. It's being painted because of dimensional limitations and as little visual pop as possible.
