Still worked just fine. So, whatever, I am not returning it. Any comments?
One look at the photo and I had one of my strokes (of genius). In the interest of recycling and practicality, use old brake pads as non-slip pedals !

I expect a tirade of witticisms from humfrz to follow.

Today I did the "see through" grill mod in preparation for my intercooler setup.

How do you go about doing this? I've either gotta do this or run without a grill

I used a heat gun and a utility cutter. Didn't even have to remove the grill from the bumper.

Oh, that's clever. Much better than what I came up with. Maybe I will retain my grill after all

Don't cut these spaces if you want to retain the back plastics on both sides as there is a screw in there that holds them

Oh right, the stock ducting. I might be doing away with that anyways so I'll see where this goes. May still go grill-less. Thanks for the info though. Much better than my initial plan involving a flap wheel...

I wouldn't go grill-less. The grill protects your radiator, intercooler, etc.

Had the dealer look at my tail light as water somehow got inside the lens. They took pictures to send off to Toyota for a warranty claim.
