I think I mentioned it in the other thread, but a few months ago I watched Line of Duty. Pretty solid British show.

Got flu and latest Covid booster vaccines yesterday. Haven't been able to sleep all night. I feel like crap. Although I should say I did take a late two hour nap in the evening so that's probably contributing a bit. But bad body aches and chills like last time. Fun...

That's a bummer. When do you head out to Japan ? My parents just left Tokyo yesterday and went down to Okinawa.

I got the flu shot a couple weeks back. Got a headache and felt less energetic from it, but nothing else popped up.

I'm leaving on the 18th so fortunately a week and a half to rest up from this.

I bet it's still nice and warm over there.

I'm a little bummed about my planning for this Japan trip.

I'm renting a car for basically two and a half days. Originally I was gonna visit Max Oridos shop again. Decided to message his shop to let them know in advance this time. They told me he'll be gone and the shop closed for most of the time I'm there because he'll be at SEMA in Las Vegas.

I've made some friends with R33 owners who are part of the stance ish community (one is more track oriented though, amazing Championship Blue). I had been planning to meet up with them and then also shoot their cars. But I was checking with them to confirm when I'll be available and they'll basically be busy with plans most of the time.

Except they said they'll both be at the Fuji Speedway R's Festival on the 29th. Fortunately I have the rental that day but unfortunately I stupidly set the return time for it to 3pm.

So if I wanna go to that GTR festival it's gonna be tricky. It starts at 9am so I'd have to leave probably around 7am from Tokyo since it's about a two hour drive. And then probably only stay until 12:30pm or 1.

Toyota rent a car is totally booked so I can't even adjust my drop off time. I suppose I could just drop it off late anyway like around 5pm and take whatever penalty they give me.

I do have some light plans to visit the current Mid Night Clubs presidents shop in Yokohama the previous Friday so that should be cool if it works out. Also might try checking out another shop or two.
