Is anyone else annoyed at the racing "level" disparity? It feels like 75% of the races in the game (and 100% of the long races) are in the 650-800PP range. Meanwhile there are literally zero long events for slow cars (minus a few of the Missions, but I don't really count those because the payout is one and done) and literally nothing for LMPs, Group C, etc 850-1000PP cars.
Ha, yes F40 and F1 are the last couple pricy cars I can think of that I want also. CLK GTR is another one I missed and am waiting for. Seems I need about 16 mil or so more than I have today to cover those 3, I think.

And you're reading it correctly, definitely sub-optimal event distribution. There will be new stuff though, hopefully all the time (and hopefully tomorrow.)

Above all else I'm hoping for some non-racecar events that pay well. Like a 5 laps of trial mountain with 500-600pp competitors that could pay out over a million cr/hr would be a dream. Could do that with many of my favorite to drive cars. Longer races where fuel and tire wear come into play would be cool and make it more of a challenge, but would mean getting to drive fewer cars in a given night of grinding.

Yeah. Finding myself playing less these days. They need to bring more various style leagues like they had in GT2! Hopefully tonight's update brings a variety of more races.

Talking

Getting together once a week is difficult (especially on a Saturday night) as we've seen, but maybe we can start throwing out our own Time Trial challenges.

Looks like the update today added some menu books, one of which is group 1: Daytona, Sainte-Croix and Suzuka. I haven't looked but I don't think they're big payout races.

Hopefully not too many things broken. I'm hearing there are FFB issues.

Still don't like the AI difficulty range. Tried the Streets of Willow with just the suspension and trans changed. Way too slow. Then I bought power adders and brought the PP to about 390 of thr 400. Made it too easy.

So for the next race, I put the stock filter, exhaust, and got rid of the intercooler. So only kept the low rpm turbo, ECU, and antilag. The pic is the result. Just look at the gap between the top 4 and the rest of the pack.

I'll try it again later, but adding the other parts back and just reducing the ECU output.

So...even tho I had two VGT cars, the Alpine and the ugly Zagato, I wanted to use something that resembled a car for the VGT menu. So bought the FT-1 VGT. Can't buy any parts for it aside from tires, and the only things you can adjust are spring rate and downforce. Can't adjust anything else. It severely lacks top end speed. I only won the one of the three races (haven't tried the other two) only because I managed to get in the lead on the second to last corner, and started blocking, making 2nd and 3rd place try to go around me only to get blocked by a back marker. LOL

^LOL.

I've got the Bugatti VGT, so I imagine that might make the VGT races fairly easy? I think it's like 950 PP

850pp is the cap. The FT1 VGT is around 792 on RS tires.

I think you'll fly through the races with that Bugatti nerfed.

I was doing the Kai Car inital track circuit experience to make some money to try and win that Café Book... Anyway my Fiancée hit the remote by accident picking something up and change the TV to relaxation mode... I said "Thank you..." in a fairly rude tone. She was like I didn't do anything... I said can I have the remote please... She looks and notices it's right where she just picked up something.. hands it to me. I said thanks. Got silver immediately after restarting. Then I looked at her and said make me even angrier so I can get Gold! She just said "You're such an asshole" and I still have gold in all the segments but not the whole track yet because we left for pizza Friday at my rents.
