Changed w/ OEM Filter and OEM 0W-20. Have seen more track-minded folks using a heavier weight so considering that next time.

Ah. I couldn’t immediately see how to take the cable guide off, didn’t want to break it. My usb connector is too big to fit through the hole. Any tips?

You kind of just pry it off, the plastic is quite malleable.

I actually had to take some material off the mini-USB connector with a bench grinder to get it to fit. Turns out there's a lot of plastic that can be ground down without hurting the connector.

Quality is pretty good, nice. Install seems pretty easy. My only concern with the rear cam would be in how to mount it if you have tint on the back window. Since I'm not going to add the homelink mirror, I was looking at this newer model of what I currently have, it definitely requires more work but at least I could skip the reverse portion since it wouldn't be needed.

Ordered a set of 18" Enkei Raijin wheels (Hyper Silver) mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4 tires.

BTW, Tirerack is now showing wheels for the 2022 BRZ as of this morning.

I expect the wheels and tires by Friday, so once I mount them (most likely this weekend), I'll post a few pictures.

How do ya'll feel about PPF? With My BRZ arriving next week, I've been in talks with a local Xpel Ultimate installer about having it installed on the front half of the car.

I've been quoted roughly $1000 for standard, which is bumper, fenders, mirrors, and partial hood. The next tier up runs $1800 to $2000, which is bumper, fenders, mirrors, and full hood.

While the paint is white, I'm really not a fan of rock chips and with all this stuff I read about Subaru's paint being soft, it sounds like a good idea to protect it.

Taking mine in next week for PPF (front w/ 24" of hood) ~$2200, + ceramic coating ~$800, + prep for ceramic coating ~$900. Hefty chunk of change but I figured if I was ever going to get it done on a car might as well start here.

I'm definitely interesting in doing PPF but it's really expensive at the one place I contacted so far... $3195 for the full front half, $6795 for the entire car. $850 for just the bumper. tbh I kind of gave up the idea after seeing that price.
