This looked promising for a moment before you get into the reviews that state the hardware isn't even stainless steel:

On my WRX I used some well nuts with a Bell "frame" but it was pretty jank and still resulted in the plate screws touching the bumper.
There are already threaded holes on the front plate flat from the factory. just adapt a plate holder to use those.

I was thinking about something like this.

I've got something like this and it's a nice clean solution. Felt kinda silly... Like DLCs

Was trying to mount a dash-cam, but the way the upgraded rear view mirror is its really tough to get a good angle and hide the cables. May not have a dash cam this time around.

Moved my rubber cargo liner from my '17 BRZ into the '22. Fits perfectly...which is great since the '22 cargo liner sucks by comparison since it doesn't cover the seat backs.

So the trunk floor of the second gen is the same size and shape as the first gen? What brand is the liner from your first gen?

Today I de-badged to JDM style and dipped the BRZ to black and replaced the rear logo overlay because I fucked up the first one trying to fix some bubbles.

Yes, though the trunk opening itself seemed slightly narrower as i was wedging in the liner.

I bought (from Toyota) the Toyota "86" branded cargo liner when I bought my '17 BRZ. It is perfect for me because I leave the back seats folded down always and that cargo liner comes right up to the back of the front seats

Yes, that's an interesting design. I haven't seen a liner like that before.

I ruined my BRZ's 3 week old stock brake pads at the track these past two days! By session 3 on the first day I had to cut braking distances by a really significant amount.

Car did awesome though! Very easy to learn although figuring out the right gearing for certain areas is proving challenging. It really sucks that the brakes took away a lot of confidence I had because it's easily capable of 2:20ish or even faster out of the box with a better driver. My goal is sub 2:20 at Eagles Canyon sometime later this year.

Anyway, quick lap if anyone wanted to watch. Nothing amazing but it felt good my fastest times were with going easy with the slowing down parts.

Met with some buddies, beautiful 94' NSX (i believe) and AP1 S2K.

100 miles on the odo so far and pushed it a little bit, the car sounds so good from within the cabin and I only got up to 5k RPM.

Having so much fun with this car it's unbelievable
