It's a bit of a pain. If you're violent, you can probably swap the filters without doing anything different. I changed the filter not long ago and I unclamped the hose where it connects to the airbox and also loosened up the bolt at the bottom of the airbox where it connects to the frame and that gave me enough wiggle to get the filters changed. A little more time consuming, but still easy.

Just standard BaysonR stuff. Been undecided for a while on what front lip/sides I want to run down the road. Just running these for the time being.
Managed to get some decent photos over the weekend while an old friend was in town visiting.

Nah, Toms is too similar to the what I’ve already got. Definitely TRD sides but deciding still between TRD and GReddy front.

Honestly I prefer the Zenki ones, which look a bit more simplistic to me.

Funny how things go sometimes lol.
Parting the car out. The oil cooler, catch can, and ducktail are all spoken for. Wheels/tires/lugs, suspension, steering wheel etc are all for sale. If anybody wants dibs, lemme know. I'll make a FS post soon probably.

Life. My 2021 has been a bit of a shit show lol. Is what it is. I don’t HAVE to sell it, but if I keep it, I probably won’t get to do anything with it for a couple years at this point.

What a journey you went on with this car! With the used car market on fire right now I'm sure you could get good money selling her. I thought about scooping up one of these Hakone editions, but decided to wait it out and build out GR86 my way as soon as dealers here in Florida take pre-orders.

So funny story....
Nearly 3 years since the last post in this thread. I actually still have this car lol It's been stock and I've just been driving it around as a daily. A buddy of mine that I go shooting with at local and various competitions runs NASA here in AZ and motivated me to get back out on track. He pitched the idea of me coming on to help with instruction for the GR program that Toyota does with NASA, so I spent the entire weekend working with students in GR86s and GR Corollas which was really fun. Managed to get out for a couple sessions and take a few of them around for some hot laps as well. First event since late 2020 so I was definitely slow and rusty lol Still unsure what the future holds for this car. I just haven't been able to commit to getting rid of it. I have been considering a GRC for a good while now, and now that they're able to be found at MSRP without too much issue, I may consider finally pulling the trigger on one of those, but we'll see.
