true..i never looked into the costs myself,
but if it adds to approx $300..
i would love the arm rest but would definitely have to wait till later..
$300 would get me a DF carbon front lip

Also if this is shipped USPS you do not have to pay import taxes & customs brokerage fees. All I paid was price of armrest + shipping.

Did the install about two weeks ago and am loving it. Definitely worth the money in my opinion. I bought mine through eBay, which I think the seller was some Toyota dealership in the UK. Everything shipped perfectly fine with all of the necessary parts. I just downloaded the installation guide and used the template.

Just make sure the template is sized properly, which I did by just placing it over the armrest and seeing if the holes lined up with the template. Tape the two pieces of the template together and then tape it to your console. To ensure that I had it properly aligned and center, I placed the armrest piece right on top of the template that was taped to my console. Then I walked all around the car and made sure the armrest wasn't sticking out over an edge or crooked. Once that's set, drill the holes with the proper bit (with care!), clean up the holes (I used a small knife), and screw the piece on.

You didn't have to remove the center console?

At first I wanted to remove the console just so I didn't have to deal with working around the seats, etc., but I did not have the tools to remove the reverse lock-out pin. I figured I would try without removing the console and managed to get it to work, just have to be extra careful with the drilling and clean up.
