Would it be tacky if the Cali star was the Japanese rising sun instead? Just another idea to throw into the mix.

Looking good so far. Not too crazy about the Japan "rising sun" for the star. I'm thinking maybe we can incorporate more elements of the state flag ie the green grass and hints of brown on the car?

Also, if this is going to be on a shirt, I prefer the "round" outline as a logo. Just works better I think compared to the "landscape" which lends it self better on a flag

I was considering making the “NorCal” green, but I’m already on 4 colors. Lol.
