Is anyone using Kosei K4R 17x8 +36 wheels?

If so, can you test fitment against the Essex Sprint brake kit template?

http://www.essexparts.com/media/down...eltemplate.pdf

If you can that would be awesome! I'm hoping Tire Rack will either way and have emailed them.. it's that or another set of RPF1s for me since I know those fit

Thanks!

Okay, just tried out the template and measured with calipers and the amount of clearance is just plain ridiculous with the 17x8 +36mm offset Kosei K4R's...

Dave get the K4R's!

I need to see them on more cars before I press buy . As far as I can remember, Vracer is the only person on the boards with these wheels. Pretty surprising seeing as they're only $800 for 15 pound 17x8 wheels that are made in Japan.

Nice! How much outer front fender clearance could one expect with these wheels using 235/40/17 tires and stock camber and height settings? Any problems, and is there enough space for lowering with this setup?

And don't forget the +36 offset...so many nice 17x8 wheels I liked only have a +45 offset... ( Enkei PF01 and RPF1 I'm looking at you!) The only problem with the Kosei K4R's is they only come in dark graphite gray.... which looks great on the lighter colors (and WRB) but not as good on the darker colors.

I don't think there's any issue with 235/40-17...

Doesn't the Enkei RPF1 come in +35et as well, or is that just the 9" ones?

All of my wheels become the same shade of "brake dust" in a month or so anyways

They are available but for whatever reason tire rack doesn't seem to think they fit.....

Mmmm, nice. Interested to hear how you like the BFG's (I've yet to hear anything bad).

Dave, how were the K4R's at the last Chin event 3/23? I was there but didn't happen to meet/run into you and look at the wheels.
