If anyone is interested who’s exterior emblems stopped working, I have brand new 10 series emblems that I am selling. My intention was to install them on my 2013 whiteout, but never got around to it. http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?p=3216975 |

Literally after a year + 1 day I found the work around for this?!?! Original issue: Changed 10 Series' USDM yellow sidemarker & OEM incandescent bulbs to ft-86 Speedfactory's JDM clear sidemarker lenses & yellow LEDs (I already have an electronic flasher installed to stop hyperflashing of my other LEDs). When I have my headlights & parking lights off (just the OEM LED DRLs turned on) the clock and dual AC display flash whenever I use my turn indicators. BUT when I have my parking or headlights turned on the clock and dual AC display do not flash when I use my turn signals. Work around: Set instrument cluster brightness to the highest setting and clock & AC display will no longer flash with the turn signal. This solution works for me because I don't want to alter the wiring nor spend money. Last edited by dnieves; 06-25-2019 at 11:10 PM. |

I bought 1912 in December 2017. It's still in Los Angeles and has 46000 miles. It was stock when I got it, I have installed the SCCA SSC mods and an oil cooler. When the warrenty expires, I want to add some power.

I don’t think they are available anymore. I used to have them but last time I tried to order they weren’t available at the dealer. At least on the illuminated badges.

Has anyone here done away with their light up dash and installed the newer dashes(subaru has a leather one and toyota has a suede)? What's involved in axing the light up dash?

There is a plug behind the panel where you can unplug it. That’s all you have to do. New panels will just snap right in.
