USD850 * 1.2 CAD / 1.0 USD = CAD1020

Still good price?

it's higher now, I think 1.26

yes, every single summer I set aside roughly 1000 bucks for tires. Sometimes I come in under, sometimes over.

Also, I'm sure that with the new dollar parity all of our prices are gonna go up.

back when it was 1:1 it was reaaaally nice for us up north. But now the jig is up .

Good thing I won two Toyo contingencies last year,

We got multiple sets of tires that we need to burn off first. This is what happens when we get curious on what tires do what. Here's our list...

Conti DW and DWS tires, Hankook RS3 in various sizes, NT01, RC1, Z2, AD08R, RE11A, and SX2s...

Has everyone pretty much stepped back to 245/40/17 (from 255) for STX or is it still a mix, depending on tire and surface and everything else leaving me nowhere better off?

Some sets were given to us by the manufacturer to test. A majority of the sets are worn down or heat cycled about 75% of the way through. We got some RS3s that got some life left though. Just mounted an old set of RS3s recently (vintage V1). LOL

Got my Dunlops mounted and installed ready for the season:

First impression vs. my previous Federal 595 RSR's, I immediately feel better initial bite with the tires but it might just be the drastic change in sizes.

Went with my original plan and ordered Star Specs, so sticking in Dunlop camp. Once we get some data it will be interesting to see how they all shake out.
