Affectionately dubbed the GR-Z

Hi All,

been awhile since ive posted in any forums but here we go.
Coming from a long history of AE86s and Gen 1 86; the plan was to buy a GR86.

However, due to poor wait times, stupid prices and terrible customer service, i now drive a BRZ.

The coilover of choice;
HKS Hipermax R
9kg Front 10kg Rear.

I ran RSR Best-i on my Gen 1, loved it to bits, very good for the street but a tad to soft for the track.

I’ve heard good things about the new Hipermax R and decided to give it a go.

Brakes were getting too hot and rotors were fried.

Purchase some lightweight Alcons CRB343 with slightly bigger 2 piece rotors.

Hopefully these increase stopping power and last for more laps.

Not sure if the Gramlights 17s would fit with the new brakes so I went out to get some 18s

New wheels are TE37SLs in 18 x 9.5 +45 and powdercoated them in Nardo Grey/ ARMs colour.

1. How do you like the Alcon BBK?

2. Why did you choose those over others?

3. Were you able to maintain front to rear bias?

Thanks
