Does pulling up on the seat adjuster make the sound go away?

Good point. My 2017 developed an irritating creak/pop in the dead pedal at about 4K miles when pressure was applied during cornering. Easy fix. Pull back the carpet. Put a couple pieces of double sided tape on the metal support behind the pedal fascia (it's part of the carpeting). Done.

Thanks for the replies.

I've checked under the seat and there is nothing loose or rattling about. Took out seats and re-bolted it back on tightly but the clicking sounds are still there.

As someone else mentioned, it sometimes happens mid-back/back rest(lumbar support) area too. When i have time next to take it apart again, i might take the SEAT itself apart instead of just the railing.

Pulling on the seat adjuster to change distance i am from the pedals only stops its from clicking for a little while. It comes back (i was sitting close enough to headbutt the steering wheel) after awhile of driving. I also noticed it happens more when the temperature is higher.

Will get back to this once i take apart the seat itself.

Can you make it make the sound just by setting in the seat and briskly moving from side to side or trying to move up and back?

Hopefully you won't have to take the seat apart, however, it could be that a spring inside the seat has become detached -

The linkage in the seat adjuster clanks with itself in multiple locations, especially over time. Once you have the seat out you’ll see what I mean. I just put .5inx.5in dynamat squares in every place the linkage comes in contact with itself.
