finally decided BRZ is the way to go, but got questions.
i know that in theory the cars are 100% identical.
as i wont be going to track, so i dont really care about how aerodynamic the car is or how much it weight i have to shave off by using a lightweight battery or such things. BUT i heard that the 0-60 time of the BRZ is higher than the FR-S/86, is that true ? in real life, what are the differences ? ( not cosmetic differences, im talking about how the car feels, acceleration, handling or anything else. |

In real life, the difference is the BRZ has a little more grip and weighs FOUR lbs more than the FRS.
That's it. And if you get the car you'd be doing yourself a disservice not tracking the car. |

I'm sure the difference which was .2 seconds was simply margin of error with different cars, it's seems pretty normal to see up to 1/2 a second difference between two otherwise identical cars.
I've only driven the BRZ, but everything I read said the only real difference is the FR-Z has a slightly stiffer suspension and is a little more prone to break the rear end loose around corners because of it, I think in the same review I read the BRZ was .2 seconds slower to 60 but still beat the FR-S around the track because of the rear end breaking loose more on corners in the FR-S. |

Given access to GT86 and BRZ, both will be practically identical acceleration wise, as others stated. Those slightly quicker times in BRZ where on a track, with a driver that LIKED BRZ handeling better. That's it. Personal preference and excitement gets you slightly better time (marginal)

Track it - it will be the best $200 you ever spent. And you WILL go back! No cops, kids, dogs, or any other distractions just you and the road!

my own opinion, BRZ is a better daily driver or grand tourer car if that's what you're aiming for.
Has more "luxurial" options available. With that said, it is very hard to pick between the two. It will be down to what amenities you want inside "out of the box".
