Hey guys, decided to join as it's getting closer to its final stage and I feel it's the right time! Been following this Toyota car for the last, what, 3 years? LOL! I hope it's worth the hype! I've always been a Toyota guy. Been through about 20 cars in the last 6 years. I've come to realize I need to settle on one so I kept my 94 Celica GT and look forward to a newer car Perhaps this stunning looking Toyota (if it meets my expectations) or a Supra TT Thanks and looking forward to learning, meeting new people, and making friends!

hello my name is james davis. i currently own a boosted 06 rs2.0 scion tc with a turbo toyotas simple kit and precission 5857B w/ CEA wheel. i really really really (cant put that enough) want an FR-S. to the point that if it's out after my next deployment (i'm a hospital corpsman in the Navy) i will probably pick one up. there are a few things i'm concerned about with it. but we will see how it plays out.

Hi all! Long-time lurker, first-time poster. I own a N/A Scion tC RS 2 partially sponsored by H&R Springs and Wilwood. I'm looking forward to the FR-S/BRZ for a daily driver as well as autocross and track days.

Hey guys I know this introduction might be kinda late but I was just so excited about the new news about the car. I check back after my midterm rush and bam it's like a volcano of information erupted. I could have sworn I made an account a long time ago but apparently not so I made a brand new account.

I have been following this car since the very beginning and have been following this forum regularly. I was planning on buying new car for a long time and I am very iterated in these reboots of old cars. That's why I was following both the FT-86 and the CR-Z. I have seen all the stages of how the CR-Z went from concept to the production model. Let me say this that transformation sucked. I was so disappointed on how the that turned out, mainly how the back ended up looking like it was taking directly form an Insight, and how it is neither really a hybrid or a sports car.

I was so worried that the FT-86 would follow the same path and not full fill their design logic. They stuck to their goal and have truly made an amazing car. Although the altezza taillights on the FR-S isn't really my style, but oh well we can always change that.

So hopefully the unveiling of the FR-S at the TAS continue to amaze me. I am really looking forward to buying this car.

Hey everyone. Not really new here, but just recently registered with the forum so I could post. Been a Toyota fan, loyalist, and advocator all my life, even through their so called "beige" years. Would've gotten a WRX if it wasn't for this. Hoping to hold out for something special. It's everything good about car culture.

Thumbs up hello

Hi all,
I'm Shaun from Cape Town, South Africa and have been lurking around here since the site popped up. I drive a 2011 4 door WRX premium.

Cant wait for the launch of the 86/BRZ to see if fun will win over HP for me. I've always wanted a rear wheel drive sports car so only the test drive is going to determine whether or not the WRX makes way for the lighter more fun 86.

I'm so far seriously impressed with the looks and specs of the car

Hi!

My name is Joe and I'm from Alabama. Looking forward to trading in my LGT on the new FR-S/BRZ. Hopefully it will get better mileage than my LGT (23mpg) or my other vehicle a 2000 Ford F350 Crew Cab Long bed Diesel (15mpg). Mainly interested in keeping it mostly stock as a Daily Driver and as a trackday/Solo toy.

-Joe

Just heard about this car a couple of days ago and have scoured the forum for info since. I'm in the market for a car this coming spring and was initllay looking at the 370z. After seeing the Scion concept for the FR-Z, along with the leaked pics, specs, and price estimates I may have to chance my mind.
