Now that, I don't know. I don't see why not as the vehicle is still road worthy and subject to emission checks if required in your area.

How common is it to burn a cat?

Figured I would update y'all. After looking around in a well lit garage, I found a tiny puddle near the driver side front most direct injector. Pulled intake manifold and fuel rail, and the 3rd o ring on the injector was in the fuel rail. Cleaned and reseated all 3 orings on both injectors on that side, put everything back together and it doesn't smell like raw gas now.

If you have a Toyota dealer do your recall beware that they might be idiots like mine and mess this up, because the smell happened right after I got the recall done like 6 months ago or whenever it came out

Opinions may vary

My opinion does vary (dang, this guy is good!). I think the UEL sound is worth every penny. By now, I'd think most people who buy this car aren't looking for rocket hp, it's because they can't fit in a Miata/S2000 (my problem).

Wow. Good catch.
That could have been a huge issue for the dealer...sounds dangerous...

It's not that bad lol, I drove like that forever. But yeah that's why I don't bring crap to dealers. Honestly brought it there because I thought they'd royally mess up and I'd get a new motor

Bad bot. Reported.
