This would only apply to cars with a freshly flashed tune. Once the cam timing is active, it stays active unless there's a failure or certain codes thrown.

Might want to liberally apply o-ring lube to ALL of your O-rings to avoid tears. Going in DRY might have caused them to stick on flat surfaces and fold over. When that happens, I suppose the gaskets may tear when it contacts the sharp edges of the runners.

What is the most recommended oil cooler at this time to use with the kit?

Willedelbrock release one and if so, should I wait for edelbrock to release one?

I track a couple times a year but live in a hot climate year round in socal.

So far, the few of us who have one have had to go the custom route. Although Edelbrock has the resources to release one thanks to their Russell brand, there haven't been any plans announced. I hear they are trying to make a business case to convince the higher ups, so I guess the more we can voice our demand for one, the more likely they are to release one.

I'll be installing a mishimoto thermostatic oil cooler tomorrow. I'll update with some pics for reference. I'll most likely be using some custom or hardware store brackets for relocation of the cooler.

Assuming you are talking about the NA version, I believe it wont fit using the provided bracket since the heat exchanger is in the way. Not sure if it's in this one or the other Edelbrock thread, but @Nitro22 got it to work nicely with some custom brackets.
