Red face MR2 to FR-S?? Help with decision

Hello all,

So lately I have been wondering about the FR-S. Since I first saw them, I thought the style looked great, and from the reviews I have read about the way they handle and drive I was quite intrigued. I have yet to test drive one, as I dont want to deal with the salesmen.

I currently have my first car from back in 97, a nautical blue 91 MR2. I have owned several other MR2's and love them. I think the Ultramarine FRS would be the direction I am heading here lol.

I am looking for input from local guys and maybe even a chance to meet up so that I can check the car out and hear from your personal experiences with your FR-S/BRZ. This would benefit over a dealer experience as they don't have any first hand experience with these cars. Not looking to drive your car, just for you to chat with me about them.

Hey there, welcome to the forum. Where in Maryland are you? There is an autocross event this weekend in Prince Georges Stadium, Bowie, MD. There will be a few FRS/BRZ there to check out.

Good luck on the car shopping. Btw, im jealous of your MR2. I've wanted one (granted the turbo version) for years. Such a fun car.

I am in Bel Air.
I appreciate the comment on the MR2. This one is N/A, it was my first car and after it I think I have had 3 turbo Mr2's. This one still has the original 5S in it, which just won't quit.
