Anyone?? I'm looking to the same.

Curious to know why the coilovers switched ownership?

If i only didnt live in a place where they salt the roads when it snows then i wouldnt have to look at more expensive coilovers

I just ordered the Tein Street Basis coilovers after one of my OEM struts blew. Currently I have the Eibach ProKit springs installed but after this incident, I've decided to completely switch over to coilover and sell the springs afterwards.

Here's to hoping that all goes well when I get receive them next week!

Tires, not sure. The wheel ares XXR 527. I would advise looking into XXR first, I searched about the web and various forums people are saying XXR are just cheap stuff.

Example: http://forums.evolutionm.net/evo-tir...becareful.html

Good luck!

They are XXR 527 in matte bronze, tires look to be 225/40 but not 100% sure. I have these wheels on my SWP and I love them, they do look awesome on WRB.

I recommend that nobody buys this color until XXR can fix their paint work\prep. I've had these wheels installed for a little over a month and every wheel has chips, and even some balancing weights fell off where you can see the missing paint where they were previously installed. See for yourself.

The good:

The bad

Did you install the Tien's? If so, how did they change the harshness in ride quality? I'm running the Eibach Pro Kit with XXR 527 18x8.75 +35 wheels with 225/40's. I'm looking at the Tien's as well, and I'm curious how they've worked regarding ride and clearance. Thanks!

I did! The harshness isn't unbearable but the difference is there when compared to the Eibach kit -- I personally didn't mind the change. I'm running 245 tires and there's plenty of clearance still even at the lowest setting. Overall I'm very glad I made the switch over and I have not had any issues so far *knock on wood*.

They aren't galvanized nor stainless steel. Thus a standard paint coating will eventually corrode and the threads will seize up making it very hard to lower or raise the car at all. I reccomend ST coilovers over all entry level Tein suspension, better critical damping (not too rough not too soft) and galvanized steel for corrosion resistance.

It appears they took that into consideration with a coating on the threads called “ZT” Corrosion Resistant Coating

Step 1: Click on the link above your post.
Step 2: Look and see if they come with camber plates.
Step 3: Decide what you want to do.
