It was extended difficult not to spend my money on a set of Rays lol.

There was a WRX STi S209 for sale for, guess, $100,000.

My mom is slowly going.

I've been here in SJ for over 3 weeks.

She is not getting better.

I'm going home on Wednesday after my older brother gets here.

I miss my wife.

Hope all you guys are doing well.

Ho.

I think that is the sister event to BigNW which happens at PIR. I have only gone once, the whole car scene thing is just not for me but they do have an all Subaru AutoX that they host during the event that I did the one year I went. I keep telling them they need to add a TT or track day to it every time I get an email asking for suggestions to improve their event.

There is also West Coast Subaru Show that happens at The Ridge Motorsports Park. I have been at a track day twice during one of their meets. It was incredibly annoying having them roam the paddock crowding your car when you are trying to get out for a session or fix something. It's not like they were good questions either. They were like, "if you track your car why don't you have FI to make it faster?" Plus having hordes of people wondering around when cars are coming in and out from sessions wasn't such a hot idea. They did have a mud bog setup one year so all the lifted AWD cars could play and that was pretty entertaining. Looks like they are no longer doing meets though.

Oh it is definitely the counterpart of WBB. Looks like they hold similar events all over the nation. Apparently the whole tech seminar thing is a new event they introduced this year. Sure, most kids that attend these meets are just going to hear a bunch of words, but it is awesome for those who truly want to make the most out o their cars.

Looks like this year they are doing a RallyX at BigNW which would probably be pretty fun to watch.

The Seminars are a great thing as long as they are not just using them to sell their product.

Made it home..barely.

I noticed my truck water temp gauge kept going up a bit, then back to its normal place (no numbers on guage), then went up and stayed there. Didn't overheat, but I knew something was wrong. The needle usually stays right in the same spot.

Pulled into the next station, open the hood, and wet everywhere, and not a drop in the radiator or overflow. Filled it up, started it, no obvious leak. Never once saw fluid on the ground or anything every time I stopped. Drove the last 200 miles no problem.

Very strange. So now I have to figure out this mystery.

Any chance the radiator cap was loose? Seems likely to be the first suspect.

No, was on tight. It is the original from 2005, but usually if you lose coolant with a faulty cap, your overflow would still be full, right? It would be an easy thing to replace to check that off the list.

No puddle under the truck this morning.

I would suggest you put some oatmeal in the cooling system just in case.

(Bubba turned me on to that hint - )
