You want to know what's faster around Pacific Raceways and The Ridge Motorsports Park than a stock AP1 or AP2.

It weighs 2250lbs with driver, has 124whp and is 18.1:1 lbs/hp and it's roughly 4-6 seconds faster around a race track than a stock AP1/AP2.

It is...

drumroll....

God's Chariot

0-60 time:
Everyday driver comforts:
1/4 mile time:
Reliability:
Safety Features:
Sex Appeal:
Road Legal:

But hey, it's faster around a track than all three of the cars above in their stock form so it's better right?... RIGHT?!.....Exactly.

Disclaimer: Post is satire and soaking in sarcasm, if you're debating anything in this post you're just being dumb.

I wish I was short enough to fit in a S2000 since it's clearly the best performance car in recent history in this category. However, being 6'5 and finding a small sports car/coupe that you can fit into comfortably is incredibly difficult. I would rather have an AP2 S2000 over my FR-S, but I just physically can't drive one. Toyota/Subaru did a good job on making this car accessible to people who are bles...cursed with their excessive height.

I'm saying I'll be impressed if you legitimately get even 25 more hp. I would trust before/after 1/4-mile trap speeds a LOT more than dyno results, though.

As you can tell, im using a calculator to figure out the 0 -60mph. All of this technical information is done on a calculator. On the calculator, it clearly states a lightly modded BRZ is as fast as a stock AP2 s2000 in relation to weight and horsepower, when ALL factors are the same. Same tires, same driver, same weather conditions.
Watchman's base stock hp is pretty low. Mine can be higher or even lower. Say my base hp is 160whp like watchman. Add 30WHP = 190WHP = 227HP. still on the calculator, little faster than the s2000.
A bit easier to just go by power/weight, which is what the calculator is doing.
*IF* you get 227hp, and with 80 lb. removed, that puts you at 12.7 lb/hp. Stock S2000 is 12.8. Hardly any difference, likely more than offset by the S2000's 49/51 weight distribution with fuel and driver vs. your 80 lb lighter (all from the back) FT86 which would be in the 55/45 range with driver and fuel. That's 13% more relative weight on the S2000's drive wheels, no small amount.

And 40 lb. worth of spare tire and tools can be removed from the S2000 in about 30 seconds, and then it's at 12.65, slightly better power/weight.

But as pointed out, these cars aren't particularly quick by today's standards, so it's kind of a tallest midget comparison...

Funny watching these two keyboard warrior bench-racers go at it, ZDan and CSI:86.

You two need to stop living life a 1/4 mile at a time and get some pu$$y in your life.

These guys essentially made comments completely in keeping with my pervasive interest in the 86, but my (current) preference for the Z34.

40 or 50 more hp and another 10-20 lb/ft of torque, it would be excellent. Anything beyond that, legendary.

Well, maybe in a few years...

Who buys an FR-S or BRZ to drag race and compare 0-60???

Find me a mountain road with twisty bits.

Not from what I've seen.

all you are doing is making speculations. im not only talking about how old the actual cars are but rather when its technology was developed. and also, the s2000 could be had for so much lower than 40k. saying something like that would be like saying the brz is a 35k car.

the only speculating was towards your previous statement. 2.4k posts ago, you decided you'd beat down anyone's happy time involving the 86. give it up plz?

thats not what is happening at all. you have no idea what ive been doing here and i dont need you to tell me about considering i was there. everytime the frs loses a comparison everybody finds an excuse. its okay to like a car without having to find excuses for it not being perfect.

Comparison was pretty easy for me. Let me know when the S2000 comes with a real roof and back seats. Not to mention that they aren't made anymore, and when they were new, they cost 10k more. But yeah, totally S2000 "wins."
