You want to know what's faster around Pacific Raceways and The Ridge Motorsports Park than a stock AP1 or AP2.
It weighs 2250lbs with driver, has 124whp and is 18.1:1 lbs/hp and it's roughly 4-6 seconds faster around a race track than a stock AP1/AP2. It is... drumroll.... God's Chariot 0-60 time: Everyday driver comforts: 1/4 mile time: Reliability: Safety Features: Sex Appeal: Road Legal: But hey, it's faster around a track than all three of the cars above in their stock form so it's better right?... RIGHT?!.....Exactly. Disclaimer: Post is satire and soaking in sarcasm, if you're debating anything in this post you're just being dumb.

I wish I was short enough to fit in a S2000 since it's clearly the best performance car in recent history in this category. However, being 6'5 and finding a small sports car/coupe that you can fit into comfortably is incredibly difficult. I would rather have an AP2 S2000 over my FR-S, but I just physically can't drive one. Toyota/Subaru did a good job on making this car accessible to people who are bles...cursed with their excessive height.

*IF* you get 227hp, and with 80 lb. removed, that puts you at 12.7 lb/hp. Stock S2000 is 12.8. Hardly any difference, likely more than offset by the S2000's 49/51 weight distribution with fuel and driver vs. your 80 lb lighter (all from the back) FT86 which would be in the 55/45 range with driver and fuel. That's 13% more relative weight on the S2000's drive wheels, no small amount. And 40 lb. worth of spare tire and tools can be removed from the S2000 in about 30 seconds, and then it's at 12.65, slightly better power/weight. But as pointed out, these cars aren't particularly quick by today's standards, so it's kind of a tallest midget comparison... |

Funny watching these two keyboard warrior bench-racers go at it, ZDan and CSI:86.
You two need to stop living life a 1/4 mile at a time and get some pu$$y in your life. |

These guys essentially made comments completely in keeping with my pervasive interest in the 86, but my (current) preference for the Z34.
40 or 50 more hp and another 10-20 lb/ft of torque, it would be excellent. Anything beyond that, legendary. Well, maybe in a few years... |

Who buys an FR-S or BRZ to drag race and compare 0-60???
Find me a mountain road with twisty bits.

thats not what is happening at all. you have no idea what ive been doing here and i dont need you to tell me about considering i was there. everytime the frs loses a comparison everybody finds an excuse. its okay to like a car without having to find excuses for it not being perfect.
