To me it's telling me they are doing their R&D, making sure their wheels will work for different setups.
As for not releasing the actual specs, I think it has to do with other companies in the past pretty much taking all the info they had and using it for their own purposes.

Prob going to have to wait for the sets to come out with the different finishes. Stuck between black and the really cool varieties of silver

Oscar dropped by our shop last week with a BRZ wearing STi Brembos. We made a template and will convert that to CAD to verify clearance. We'll post up when we have CAD overlay.

June Update:

17x8!

We had some great feedback from the FR-S/BRZ community and decided to add a 17x8 option in with the 17x9 and 17x10. In order for us to do this, @949 Racing had to rework the production schedule a little. We plan on having these available for preorder soon, with the wheels available late summer!

We will release final offsets and pricing when the preorder begins.

17x10 sounds very interesting. I need to fit 295/35R17 Hoosier A7s on my SCCA Solo2 SM twin. Right now a 17x9et45 with a 275/35R17 A6 barely fits. I'd suggest a 55 offset for the 17x10.

Fantastic. This may have just become my number one choice, assuming offset is close to 36. Thank you.

Emilio and his team have been building this wheel for years. I have 40-50k on a set and haven't been nice to them. No problems and the finish has kept up fairly well. I think the current design for this wheel is on it's 4th generation which is an updated design and new to 2015 customers. I have a set of Gen 3's. I can't speak highly enough about 949 and their products and service. They answer the phone when you call and don't short you on any answers. Cool Dude/s. I'm excited to see this product and anyone with doubts on quality can rest assure it will be well sorted before they send them to market. Keep in mind price includes center caps for the hard parker and their hardware is super light and heavy duty and extremely reasonably priced. The only thing to watch for is that these are double valved for nitrogen so you have to play with the heavy spot when mounting the tire to get them to balance with minimal weight if your nuts like me. Not a big deal. Plus some of the supporting forum vendors will probably carry them. I'm certain I'll be in the market for a set of these.
