Bought my first few stocks today. Should be fun to learn the game. Cannot be worse than dumping funds into my RX-7!

There is nothing wrong with dumping funds in something as long as you don't expect any return out of it.

You called it. Kitchen sink is against an outside wall. Circuit is the outlets on each side of the sink, and one outside. I didn't think they were allowed to do that in 1988? It has been raining this week. I think that's where I'll start. A more modern outdoor outlet cover for starters.
It's sort of vague. I really only know back to about 2005 code. Have seen it plenty, but I don't think it's ever been technically correct. Code requires 2 dedicated countertop circuits that are GFCI protected, and code also requires 1 outside outlet, GFCI protected, at the front and rear of the house.

Most inspectors don't check each individual outlet and which circuit they're on. They just check that outside and kitchen stuff is on gfci's. Technically, I could put a GFCI out by the mailbox, and run wire back to protect the kitchen circuit off it...

On his way out, he looked around my garage/workshop and suggested that I NOT let the electrical inspector go through the garage -

Nope, I never did burn down nutten because of my electrical work -

(except an 220V irrigation pump - and I've told that story - and I don't wanna think about it no more - )

Good move. I suggest you put the stocks in a back drawer and leave them alone till you retire or they will drive you crazy.

You didn’t happen to do this to a house in Grand Blanc, MI? This isn’t far off from how my friend’s house is wired.
