Ok... Now that is a very good looking car that I cannot afford.

Edit:. (Emphasis on the first part because at least I can maybe see it once or twice).

Yeah, I've seen the clips, very impressive from a technical pov, more of the same.
I'm even less interested in the McLaren Artura.

Sub 7 minute ring time with 500hp, that is bonkers.

Also 17 seconds faster than the old gt3, and 7 seconds faster than the outgoing GT3RS. :O

I wouldn't kick one out of bed, but I find the entire 992 line to be the least attractive 911 since the 996.

Let's set aside the affordability issue for a moment, the really irritating thing with all things Porsche GTs is the limited supply and buyers are invited to purchase if Porsche think they're worthy!!

I still have a soft spot for the 997.2 GT3 RS very high on my list if I had the cash..

I like it, and I don’t. I need to see it in person to know for sure. I like the 992’s interior and exterior design and retro cues. I like the standard wide body. I don’t like how the rear seems more bulky or how the rear quarter panels don’t drape over the wheels.

I like touches for this GT3.

It’s kind of crazy how Porsche throw so much development and technical expertise to make the fundamentally flawed rear-engined 911 so fast. Like, if they threw the same effort, money and engines at the Cayman, how much quicker could that car be with its inherently better mid-engined balance? Tis truly bonkers.

It's not a flaw, it's a compromise like everything else.

It's a flaw, if it wasn't then there's no reason they would have switched the 911 RSR to a MR. Same reason Corvette has transitioned to a mid engine. They both know they're reaching the limits of what a FR, RR platform can achieve this day and age with tire and aero technology where it is.

911 being rear engine is solely for continuity of branding and vehicle heritage.

So a front engine rwd car is flawed as well?
