Public Service Announcement.

If you have driven your car in the winter and you are planning on any suspension modifications, hit the gym now in preparation for this.

Over the weekend I installed the following:
- Tein Mono Sport coilovers
- Whiteline endlinks (front and rear)
- SPL rear control arms, rear toe links, and rear traction arms

Don't even think about getting the endlinks off without an angle grinder/cutting wheel.

The worst was actually the rear toe link. Even after hitting the nut/bolt with penetrating oil AND trying to scrub any residual rust off of the bolt, I still had to use my 3' breaker bar to get the damn things off. Did I mention that that particular bolt is longer than most as well.

I was sore as hell on Sunday (did the install on Friday / Saturday) and am still a little sore today.

However, the car is now rocking the new setup. I'm just waiting for it to settle but I am going for a 1" drop all around. It looks pretty good so far and the one positive from the weekend is that even though I changed out a bunch of stuff the alignment isn't totally hosed (car doesn't pull on the highway at all) so there's no rush to take it in for an alignment.

Saw an 86 last night on Anderson road at a 4 way stop. I noticed when he was turning that he had a little trailer behind it. And here I thought I was the only one...

There will be a few trailers headed to Calabogie tomorrow.
I'm on the track at 11:00 but will want to be there an hour or so before.
Not sure when everyone else starts.
We should set up a convoy.

Decided to go to SCP instead. Free tickets, and I'll be using MUCH less gas. Calabogie is two hours away from my place...
