Prevent a 1 tire fire and make the car completely predictable via consistency. Tires are a very temporary modification. I like long term meaningful, tangible purchases, not short term instant gratification. |

I was just surprised reconfiguring the LSD was on the list. I'm not saying your opinion is wrong for you or anyone else. I was just surprised that it made the top three. Typically pads and tires are the two best-bang-for-the-buck mods for anyone hitting the track that most people would say without question, and considering the flack the 86 gets for the Prius tires, I figured that would be even that much more likely to make the top three. Sometimes it is good to be surprised.

Not bad. Race teams would like pads/rotors that lasted that long.

Oh really? I didn’t know that. I thought the manuals could hold a lot, and I thought the autos could too because I thought the auto in the SS and ZL1 is the same. They are different? I know the GT500 uses a dual clutch.

More importantly, IMO, the BM4 has outer dust seals, which means you don't need to rebuild due to winter elements finding their way to the pistons! My use case may be somewhat unique; the average CSG BM4 user seems to average 15-30 events (~20-50 track hours with mixed street use) per set of pads. Rotors vary by use and chosen rotor. |

The Supra's trans can't hold 550wtq in higher gears. Likewise, a Hellcat's trans can't hold 700wtq in higher gears. a 550wtq supra will be faster than a 700wtq hellcat though. |

With that said, those pony cars still don’t track well? The can track well. You mean not repeatedly? I guess I’m trying to ask is the Supra cut from the same cloth as these pony cars. All I hear from reviews is that the steering is not as sharp as the 86 and the ride is not very inspiring. Visibility is poor like a Camaro. It makes me wonder if the MKV is a new highway queen, drag style Supra. The shorter wheelbase was meant to give it better handling, but did they miss the mark? Is the Supra closer to a high hp 86, or is it closer to a light weight pony car?

I’m not interested in an automatic. This is more to feed my curiosity or to give me some insight in the unlikely case I need an auto after a motorcycle accident leg injury or in the unlikely case they release a manual version. The opinions of other car reviewers is satisfactory, but not all of them have direct racing experience in this car, nor have they owned a boosted 86 that they also have raced, so I was expecting to put more stock in your opinion on the matter. It’s ok. I’ll Turo the car sometime.
