Vented Hoods

Im in canada with no garage i was wondering how bad it would be if snow or rain gets in the engine?

So, you have already punched the holes in your car's hood?

If so, why did you do that?

How many holes, where - ya got a picture?

How is the fitment/installation?


I'm interested in one just because I'm FI and my temperatures are high.

Im FI too and man it helps. It fits well a bit more space on the side by like 1mm but not too noticeable.

Not too worried about the spacing then if it's that small. Just rains every day where I am with thunderstorms.

Heard that too but another person said the water goes where their air filter is. Solution was to get an air filter waterproof wrap or something but I believe that restricts airflow to the filter.
