BMW has been making a RWD hatch for years! They just won't sell it in North America.

I want a new Celica. Doesn't Toyota understand the world revolves around me and my needs?

Didn't the WRX STi go to a hatch only, "because that was the hip thing to do" and they got so many complaints they went back to offering a sedan a year or two later? I don't get this perceived want for a hatch. Unless it's a lift-back, love me a lift-back. Hate the notch-backs.

One of the reasons it went to a hatch for WRC. Then WRC changed the rules and Subi left the sport, then made a STi sedan.

It's ok, the bad feelings will go away with time. Hopefully they didn't touch you anywhere they shouldn't have.

ok.. the words baby FR-S sound completely stupid because, as you know, first our car is aka the baby LF-A. The word baby to this supposed car to ours, just sounds lame altogether, really.. a smaller car than ours? lol what next right? But anyways.. im kind of confused as to why toyota would create a 4 dr hatch thats rear wheel drive all of the sudden?

Well, if you look at chev, a Camaro is considered a baby Corvette and a Cobalt was considered a baby Camaro (until they axed Cobalts) and before that the Cavalier was the baby Camaro. It doesn't necessarily refer to actual, physical, size.

BTW I point to the Smart Four-Two and the Toyota iQ for cars that are physically smaller :P

I still wonder why they made a Toyota sports car into a Scion when Scion already had one but left it a Toyota everywhere else. Toyota is doing strange things lately.... not all good.

I don't know if this is the same car because this one is a coupe, but I saw a new 1.5l Toyota on a JP magazine. (The top middle pic below)
That magazine also talks about the new Honda Beat, which might be called S660.
If anyone's interested, it's a cell phone app called "GT Books".
