Recommendations for 2017 Toyota 86 paddle extensions
Hi. I recently purchased a 2017 Toyota 86 (AT) and my only complaint so far is the way I 'lose' the paddles when making a large turn of the wheel. I'd like to buy some paddle extenders so just looking for some recommendations.
I'm thinking adhesive based extenders would be better than the screw based ones as the screws will damage the paddles. Also, most of the extenders I've seen so far seem to be for 2013 to 2016 models. Does anyone know if these will still fit a 2017? Thanks Last edited by Gatmando; 09-10-2019 at 12:55 PM. |

These are the only ones that I am aware of for the Kouki models.

I only saw some on aliexpress (questionable), but they were absurdly expensive and out of stock. The pickings are slim to none for MY17+ unfortunately.

Since I don't have anything constructive to add, I'll just say, you shouldn't be changing gears with the wheel turned so far you can't hit the paddles anyway.
Full disclosure, I drive a manual. Are the paddles on the column, or do they turn with the wheel? |

Hi @Dake. The paddles move with the wheel.

I have had these for years now. They blend with the interior well, the adhesive hasn't given me any issues.
They pretty much look like they belong as a stock item to the car. http://www.ft86speedfactory.com/star...l#.XQQKjLxKguU and the price is attractive compared to the other one suggested. |
