Twin Turbo FR-S

Anyone have a link to read up on this FR-S? Curious how this build came about.

The owner is mute when it comes to power figures or a dyno plot of that set up. Seems like it's done more for the "whoa bro check this out" factor than performance. Just my opinion on that last part.

Yea, I was thinking it's a good register on the cool factor but low on the function factor.

Awhile back that build came up in another twin-turbo thread and the owner made a few comments about it toward the end of the thread. No crazy informative posts, but its something.

That is my car, im not that active on the forums. Any questions feel free to ask or pm or ig or facebook.

As for the car its been great zero issues even in the az summer heat. I've traveled in it out of state and done multiple track events as well as an awesome daily. I will get new dyno sheets and post up since my last ones from my base tune on wastegate pressure only showed 318whp. Since then, the clutch has been upgraded since i stopped at the slipping point, now flex fueled, and in the process of assembling the built bottom end to drop in. The most im trying to make is 450-500whp but any details or questions ask away!

Thanks that is true, I like efficient reliable numbers since I push mine and im happy with it. Peak power and numbers is cool but how long can it hang for and can it track all weekend without issue and drive me back home after? Plus theirs a point that is overkill for this light chassis lol, more coming soon!

Everyone is so worried about how much power these engines can handle in such a short period of time. But take into consideraton.

Subaru engines love boost
Food for thought: Supras

The engine can take a beating and the fad is a fragile thought and fear that the engine will hold. If you plan on FI you plan for the worst because you are dealing with more advanced factors on your engine and car. But if you FI I am sure you will make the decision to take care of your engine and look for the best quality of turbo kit and components you can get and not take shortcuts.

I've been pushing 400whp on FI for 15k miles now and no problems. So it all depends on quality and care.

Just my 2Cents.

Nice ride @fst86frs I like that you take the road less taken. We are all young and still learning about this platform But we are the pave makers.
