I'll just be happy with my slow FR-S until its big brother gets released to the market.

I still feel Twilight's love story touches my heart a bit more.

OP's post should be included as a pamphlet when you buy this car.

Great post.... most people don't understand all of the background machinations that go into OEM mods. When a car manufacturer changes something as simple as brake pad composition they have to re-certify the car with the new material. It's a slow expensive and time consuming process.
Adding more power to a car that is targeted at a younger market, and that is already being "Drifted" on city streets would give nightmares to the ToyBaru legal team. I'm not saying that they won't do it, but they would need to see more of a market to justify the risk. Good thread. |

man, i love this car.
basic rwd small sport car. i hate too much electronics everywhere with all theses stupid gadget, like rear cam, blind spot sensor, too close sensor, dash with 1000 buttons, etc.. i wish it doesnt come with a touch screen, i hate that. and hope the speaker were better, but it doesnt affect me much. i prefer ear the sound of my car. |

Great post that is very pragmatic about the sports car market. Inexpensive, mainline sports cars that are this small can't be everything to everyone. Toyota and Subaru felt this segment was their best chance at making a fun car that wouldn't be a total sales flop. It isn't setting the world on fire sales wise now that we are 3 model years in, so being conservative about the number of models offered was probably a good idea.

Hm.
Exactly as much 2+2 as a 240Z or MGB-GT. Those got the full designation.
