Decided to install the Racecomp Engineering 25mm front sway bar today. Overall, pretty impressed with the install. I did have a hiccup on install though, but I figured it out!
IMPRESSIONS: Initial impressions of the feel are immediate. Keep in mind I already have lowering springs on the Sachs dampers and the RCE rear sway bar. Because I added the rear sway bar, I noticed an inbalance in the way it handled. Adding the stiffer front sway bar to the already stiffer rear sway bar (previously installed) has balanced it out and returned the neutral feeling it had as stock. The difference now VS stock? Definitely less body roll and a much more planted platform. ALSO I just went to my local canyons to test the complete RCE front and rear sway bar setup out, and noticed more grip on turn in. Obviously I'm not going 10/10 hard on the street, but a difference was immediately felt. I cannot wait to test the new setup at my next autocross event. I foresee a definite decrease in time. It's because of people like you guys that there aren't more women in the car scene
Congrats on the purchase @QueenBRZ. I drive Highway 39 and GMR most weekends so I might catch you and your man on the mountain sometime. Enjoy the car! |

As for queenbrz, nice thought out and informative videos that generally are straight to the point unlike most other car type videos that add some bs filler material. The driving gloves seem too large and out of place in my opinion. |

When you go out of your way to stage provocative pictures with your car as a woman you'd have to be extremely ignorant to think someone on the internet isn't going to make a juvenile comment about it.

No new updates on the BRZ. But I made a short video about 86 day yesterday. I got to meet a lot of local 86 / BRZ people and was so impressed by the quality of the builds and the friendly attitude.

You must have a pretty low moral compass if you cannot control yourself in a respectable manor around other people. Respect and decency doesn't get thrown out the window just because "we're on the internet". I wish more people in the car scene showed this level of commitment and passion. Her videos are informative and not filled with click-bait lame content like a lot of other auto "enthusiasts" on youtube. Her modifications serve a purpose. She actually drives her sports car as it was intended for and gives good feedback on the products and why she chose them.

I really agree with Jeremy here.
If this situation is something you have to even question as calling for a specific reaction, then there's something wrong. If it's not your cup of tea then just get out. Like is it really that hard? I don't give a shit about super stanced out twins, do I go into their threads or whatever and comment saying "wow the drivers must be super fat for their car to go that low and the camber to be so extreme?" No because 1. that's fucked up, 2. if I don't like it then at least I keep it to myself, and 3. well, that's how that owner likes their car and they want to share about it. I'd rather have any kind of person who's an enthusiast get more people interested in the different ways to work on our cars. Anyway I'll just leave off saying that @QueenBRZ's done some super cool stuff so far and I think it's awesome she works on her own car. She's done way more than I have lol. I went to a shop to get my springs installed; she installed her Yellows herself. That's damn impressive.

Have a look through the first post, every pic is of her. The car is secondary. Show me one other thread on here where a user has more than 1 picture of them in front of their car. There are THREE pictures in this entire thread without her in it. I don't care if she is a man, woman or vegetable. Show us your car. There are users here that are women that you would never know. Because it doesn't matter and we aren't here for that. |
