BRZ Valve Spring Recall

Does anyone have a copy of the actual Subaru BRZ valve spring recall procedure they can share? The Subaru Canada version would be great. Not the Toyota FRS procedure (which I found posted on the forum). My apologies if it is posted here, I just can't find it.

Also, has anyone in Canada, Ontario in particular had this recall completed on a BRZ yet? The dealership our car came from is claiming some gaskets are still on backorder and that they have not performed the service on any BRZ's yet.

I've got an Ontario BRZ. I wasn't in the VIN range but I received a letter anyway.

I did not perform it yet and probably will not.

if there were only 11 incidents between 2012-2015 out of 400,000 vehicles in question, most of which happening in the first 50,000 miles, I think I'm safe (200k km). There were spring failures in the past 3 years as well, including an FRS post on Reddit in 2016.

I've been researching for weeks and haven't found any procedure, can you link too the other thread please?

Attached is a breakdown of events in the recall. I can't remember where I sourced this document but I'll try to find it again.

But tldr,
1. They didn't change anything in the manufacturing process for the new springs.
2. They increased the lower acceptance limit of parts off the assembly line.
3. The springs in your engine may very well have been the 99% not in the lower extremity of the acceptance window.

Even if it does it would be covered under the recall so no big deal.
