Smile Openflash FLEXFUEL OTS Tunes!

Hi guys,
We have been plugging away in getting Flexfuel kits and Flexfuel tunes out for the general masses. So far, we have only been testing them in a closed Facebook group (SBD Turbo owners group) and all has been good. But now it's time for a wider release. But first, I need a few volunteers to work with. Basically I'd like to test the OTS Flexfuel Stage 1 and Stage 2 UEL/EL maps in a handful of cars and offer free custom e-tuning to dial it in properly.

Here is what is required to be a early tester:

1) An Openflash Tablet and our XRP Flex Fuel Kit

2) Access to E85

3) Must have a naturally aspirated 6MT (USDM or nonUSDM). No 6AT FlexFuel support yet.

4) Stock airbox (any drop in filter is fine)

5) Must know how to data log so I can make tune revisions for you

After custom e-tuning this first batch of cars, we can release OTS FlexFuel tunes for everyone. Major thanks go out to ztan for developing the FlexFuel code. He put a lot of time into getting it work the way it does. It's brilliant and it works beautifully!

If you are interested in becoming an early adopter (and get free E-tuning), please email me at shiv@openflashperformance.com and write "FlexFuel Testing" in the subject line.

Cheers,
shiv

If you get any volunteers from Australia, please send them the ignition maps and maf scales for E0 from the flex roms I sent you, not openflash ones for E10 that run shit on E0.

We will have the flex tune running on MT with moto east kit in the next week or two.

@Shiv@Openflash

does the fftec flex sensor supplied output 0-5v for direct connection to ecu ?, the kit does not seem to have separate box or circuit to convert 50-150hz signal to 0-5v.

also do you have wiring schematic for fftec it to connect to evap input as in Europe/Australia we have no connection to ECU at connector A35 pin 20.

Built into the harness, there is a nifty little bit of electrics that converts the freq single to voltage. The range is actually 0.5 to 4.5v (instead of 0-5v). For those Aussie/EU ECUs that have a blank at A35, pin 20, they will need to source a spare pin to insert as explained by ztan in his open source flex fuel thread. I'm looking into it as well to make things easier for our international customers

I would be interested in this as well when 6AT's come around. I have a OFT, datalog, 2 E85 stations within 5 miles of my house, NA with stock airbox and plenty of open road to drive on.

Hi,
We won't have any OTS flex fuel for forced induction applications. All those will require custom e-tuning (just as we do for the turbo guys that are currently running our flex fuel kit/tune).

For all you 6AT guys, I should soon have a test ECU to test Wayno's 6AT flex fuel code on. Thank you e-bay!
