I think the Bentley is cooler. R8 is a little too movie car for me. Go test drive an I-Pace.
Not ready to go electric, and I've never been a big Jaguar fan. Everyone I know that has owned one over the years has had nothing but trouble.

I'm sure I'll just keep the cars i have.

It really depends what sort of money we are talking. Would love to get to the point where I could afford a Pagani Zonda or a Koenigsegg. Or both.
Until then, what it could be attainable atm woulb be something along the lines of a an older either a Ferrari or Porsche. But then common sense and other priorities kick me back to reality and tells me "nah".

When you are spending enough that it doesn't make a hit on your standard of living but you still go, "Holy shit."

So if the Porsche Taycan Turbo hits $140k, is that an exotic?

I’d say that more depends on where you are. Kansas? Sure.

Los Angeles? You’re invisible.

Not if you're on of the first to get it, and for about 12 months. I'm in the Bay Area, home of Tesla, and I took a Model X P100D for an overnight test drive when it was new. I was a rock star for 24 hours in that jelly bean. Nowadays, it ain't shit. Dime a dozen. Now the I-Pace, for the moment, is new hotness. A year from now? Probably yawn city.

Newness definitely plays into the exclusivity rating, for sure. However, is something exotic just because its exclusive in that moment? I'm not sure newness or exclusivity alone are accurate measures of what constitutes an exotic. A 5 year old Gallardo, for instance? Still an exotic but by no means new, and probably many more in existence than the new iPace.

Well,,, as much as I'd like to have a Ferrari,, or maybe a Mosler and new C8 with a good old American V8 with 500 or so HP and flippy paddle shifters for less than $70K would be nice. At that price I wouldn't afraid to drive it.

Wait till the 750Hp version comes out!!!!

Drove behind a black Ferrari for a bit yesterday in my FR-S. He was VERY impressed and offered to trade even, but I told him no way.

In all seriousness, man that car sounded beautiful. Still would never want to own one.
