Sounds good, hopefully you can show how cause I'm not very knowledgeable on wiring, just the basics and no the fuses looked good but I replaced them to be sure and still didn't turn on

Might be but not very knowledgeable on wiring, might have to take apart the dash to see where the wires go

And by EL panel we're talking the dash panel that lights up "SCION" and then "10"?

Since we're on this light discussion can I get a manual trigger for the EL? How about my glowing emblems? I want to be able to turn them on at night.
For the drl, it's only on when your on D or R and when you park or put the e brake up it turns off, but there's a bypass module you can buy to always keep on even when you turn on your headlights

And yes El panel is the one that lights up scion then 10

For the front and back emblem, you might need to rewire it to the headlights so it turns on at the same time at night but might burn out quicker and you must consider the power output from the headlights going to the small emblems

That's good info, thanks! Has anyone reported problems with the emblems burning out? LED are usually very long life. Additionally, I may want to look up how ro rebuild them if burnout is an issue. I'll have to look at the wiring diagram and OEM controls and see about putting a controller over them. I'd kinda like to be able to build a "lightshow" mode where the dash cycles and emblems glow and maybe some ground effects and other stuff. Now I'm gonna have to start looking that up.

No problems, if you find out how to add a controller that keeps them up and able to swap out the led, let us know cause I'll like to do that as well

FR-S 10 Series Registry

Never posted this

Has anybody removed the Scion Badges? I purchased Toyota badges, and I don’t know if removing them is a pain since they’re wired.

No, I am not selling my 10 Series badges.

Toyota Badges

I will let everyone know that if you do plan on changing out the badges, there will be a hole cutout for the wires, but it isn’t noticeable at a distance. I’m planning to order Varis bumpers in the future, but I don’t really care that much, I just didn’t like the Scion badges.

With help from friends, it took me 45 minutes. It’s pretty easy to do, but it’s just time consuming. The most difficult thing was to remove the wire that’s attached to the light up badge. I was super anal with removing it, but an easier method of taking it out is to just cut it, and if you ever need to, just splice the wires back on.

If you are ever planning on getting a different front bumper and trunk, I would just wait until then to put on Toyota badges.

She’s dead Jim

Ladies and gents, recently #107 bit the dust in a highway wreck. Frustrated at shitty Florida drivers, but thankful to be somehow be unhurt. If you’re itching to sell your Series 10, please shoot me a PM; I’m considering my options to replace it with a newer model, but the 10 series held a special place in my heart, and I’d love to recreate it more than anything.
