Motor is still working correctly after j02 recall. Daily driving this is a lot of fun.

Car had been running rough on cold start, and occasionally throwing CELs about being too rich.
Ordered and installed a new MAF as I was still on the original unit after my 2nd motor failed. Also found some questionable work on the evap return line which I fixed by putting a real hose coupler in and clamped everything.
Car is running great now. Cold starts idle perfectly, and the car seems to have a much smoother powerband. No CELs so far, fingers crossed.

Did my first auto-x in nearly 5 years a couple-ish weeks ago. One nice thing about tons of grip and no boost is that you don't have to lift as much. Super fun to get back out there. Might have to start heading out more...

Put in an aftermarket arm rest/cover on the center console. 10/10, would do again. Not sure why I waited so long to do this mod.

Well after talking with my awesome spouse, we've decided that the FR-S can stay. I just recently had Zach at CSG tune it with the special motor and blower. On E65 we got 288/218 on a mainline hub dyno.
With Motul 15-50 300V it's generating 75psi oil pressure at 2600 RPMs too.
It's pretty quick, and sounds angry.
Also, got a new daily because 91 octane at $6.50/gal in the 18 V6 Tacoma at 18.5 MPG with a 150 mile round trip daily commute is f'n expensive.
Hypermiler mode activated. 2026 Prius XLE FWD. So far it's gotten 51 MPG over 300 miles.

Wow the Prius looks so... sleek compared to the original. That's some crazy fuel mileage!!!! Time to gut it and go for max efficiency
So happy to hear you're holding onto the Firestorm.... it's so badass, and that's CRAZY oil pressure.
