Yep. Could do a whole tune based on nothing more than sound and smell. If you were one of those hoity-toity fancypants you could of course use a dwell meter and timing gun. Torque wrench? LOLOLOLOLOL

You have a point about complexity, but I meant access to instruction, in particular. There are YT vids out there on how to fix just about anything..or field strip a 100 year old pocket pistol. Yes, some discernment helps to filter out the crap, but it's generally a very good thing for me. My 1st car was a hand me down 1969 Olds Cutless S, with a 350 "Rocket" V8. If my neighbors' boyfriend hadn't volunteered to teach me some things, car ownership would have been harder. I couldn't afford a mechanic, so if I couldn't fix it, I was hosed. He could rebulid a carb with his eyes shut, in 5 minutes...me, not so much.

The new Sienna aping design elements from the Supra. A good indicator of what to expect from the new 86?

I can see the entire lower Fascia of the "XSE" trim being applied to the 86. The big "lump" along the side and over the rear fender seems likely as it is also on the Highlander. Then around back, the "pseudo duck-bill" spoiler and fake vents under the taillights would also fit.

Damn, that van looks badass in the front...too bad they don't offer a 6MT, 300HP V6 version...lol

On a side note, if the economy continues on it's slow roll through next year, the 2nd gen 86/BRZ might be just the "sports" car people can still afford...like the Sunbeams, Triumphs and MG's after the war...

And the Supra got it's design basics from the Prius.
If nothing else they like to make sure you know it is a Toyota.

Do you guys realize that posting pictures of a Sienna in an 86 forum is like flashing pictures of a cat to an overly rambunctious dog?

THAT, gentlemen, is your worst foe, traffic light to traffic light.

If all the things that people say they want go into the next gen then it will be closer to the Sienna than a first gen anyway.

I can't wait for the car to come with an OLED gauge cluster screen that will have burn in within 10 year sand be blurry when it's negative 16 degrees F outside!

the new Sienna only has a 245hp hybrid + 4 banger instead of a 300 HP V6.

The 86 might actually be faster than a minivan now!
