Did you specify Trueno Blue, Neptune Blue, or "any blue"?
I'm the guy that specified "any blue", but mostly with Neptune in mind. Did you happen to snap a picture of their list? I put my reservation down beginning of October if i remember correctly.

Ah okay, if you placed it at Walnut Creek, you’re 1 for blue and I’m second, but I did specify exactly for Neptune lol. ITS CONFUSING, but either way, I’m looking forward to getting more order details soon.

I love my Teslas, but I cannot wait to drive a manual again, a more analog experience in this digital world.

Nov 10th around 1-2pm, how about you? Does this line up with your spot?

I dont know man. It might be because I called them that Monday morning and they got my information down and what place I would be. I ended up actually putting down the deposit Wednesday.

So if its going by when I first called them and gave info, it makes sense. That might be why?

It should be by when you have them the deposit.

Looking forward to hearing news from Walnut Creek hopefully tomorrow! Please share if anybody hears from them as well! Was able to sneak a peak at a Sapphire Blue BRZ today, excited for this new car!

Will do, I'm trying hard not to obsess over it. It feels like ordering a Tesla all over again, except this time, I can't log in to see if I've been assigned a VIN number. Makes me more anxious lol. I waited 4 months for my Tesla, let's hope the GR 86 isn't that long of a wait.

Is there something that will be announced tomorrow? Wondering why you are feeling like you may hear news from Walnut Creek tomorrow?

I could use any information at this point! I just want to know if the cars have even began production...

Ok was able to piece together some information…

So based on some info from the Seattle Auto Show by a Toyota Rep, allocations are coming end of the November and ETA’s are mid-December. I see this being true. I’m tracing the BRZ logistics in hopes that the GR 86 follows it as well.

Using the 2022 BRZ we had just sold:

Production Date was 9/29
VIN assigned date was 10/19
Delivery Date was 11/01

So that is about 1 month from production date.

So if that document is true and the first GR 86’s are scheduled to be manufactured 11/11 then using the BRZ timeline:

11/11 Production Date
12/1 VIN Date
12/13 Delivery date

Disclaimer…this could all vary because number 1 Subaru factories may not even be shipping GR 86’s and BRZ together and 2) I’m not sure which Port GR 86’s arrive (Subaru is primarily Richmond, Toyota primarily Benicia)

…but this timeline makes so much sense based on the info out there.

Where is my damn like button?! Let’s hope that since they are built at the same plant, they follow the same schedule for the sake of logistics and not wanting to disrupt those schedules for each manufacturer.

December can’t come soon enough. Stop feeding my anxiety though LOL!

I went to the dealer in Burlingame. I actually found it in the employee lot since an employee bought it. He saw me looking at it and offered to let me sit/start it up! The Sapphire Blue actually looks really good in person, highly considering it now...Also, the interior is pretty nice, maybe i'll have to get a premium GR

My salesman told me that they receive new allocations every Monday, so i'd like to think if we were to hear anything from the dealer it'd either be Monday or Tuesday.
